Occurrences:
1. EVP obtained in the kitchen by three members.
2. Upon
entering the bunk house which is a long hall with bedrooms on either side, the
doors were unlocked for entry after investigation beginning at the end of the
hallway but they were not opened, as we walked down the hall. We entered
the room on the end which had bunk beds. Returning out of the room into
the hallway it was noticed that all the doors except one, to each room was open
at least 4-5 inches.
3. In the
kitchen, while attempting to obtain EVP, the large restaurant-quality stove
turned on by itself. Meaning the burners, approximately 6 in all, turned
on by themselves in view of six investigators.

Footsteps were heard in the library area coming up or down the stair well in the
early morning by the occupants of two adjoining rooms.
CASE PHOTOS AND INFORMATION
The Sierra Sky Ranch was recently purchased by its current owners Ted and
Sally. It was originally built in 1877, was a sanitarium for patients with
TB, then for elders and was a rehab for veterans from World War I. Today,
it is a 29-room hotel which has a dining room and bar. Employees have
reported paranormal activity for many years in just about every part of this
resort.
Our group was allowed to walk through every part of the resort. Taking
cameras and audio recording as well as EMF and temperature sensors, we detected
a lot of energy in areas of the resort where the activity has been
reported. We believe we made contact with a couple of the ghosts in the
kitchen and in the bunk house with EVP's. We did receive some orbs in our
pictures, however, we are looking for more evidence and will return to do more research here in the future.
