The Ghost Trackers Filmed On Alcatraz With Richard Senate For A BBC Television Series Called, "Dead Famous"
Alcatraz gets this Haunted Award because, although we have been to The Rock many other times before, the pictures on this page are the first significant evidence of possible paranormal activity.

We were asked by TwoFour Productions to film a seance on Alcatraz along with Richard Senate, a psychic named Carla that he brought with him and a "sensitive" named Chris Fleming that the production company brought. Although seances are not in the usual standards that we use to perform an investigation, we were honored to be asked and thought it would be great to get back on the island to spend the night.

Our adventure actually began on a Saturday night/Sunday morning where we were taxi'd across the water to the island. We met up with the film crew, Richard Senate and Carla and Chris. We had time to wander the cell blocks and take pictures and then went upstairs to the infamous hospital ward to have the seance.

Left - Here you can see Charlotte being rousted by the local cops. In order to film on the pier, irregardless of if you use any of the pier in your film, you have to have a permit which of course, Charlotte had. It was more than a nuisance to have to stop what we were doing, have her walk over to the office and fill out a piece of paper.

Left - This photo was submitted by Ghost Trackers member Steve Pristavok and shows an interesting display of possible orbs. This is just prior to the seance taking place.
Right - This photo was also by Steve and shows a possible orb just above the cabinet which seems to meet all the criteria for orb phenomenon.

The most interesting picture taken during this seance sequence while on The Rock was taken by Central California Paranormal Investigator Jackie Meador. She sent it to me for evaluation asking about the mist surrounding the picture. Although you can't really see the mist well, it does surround most of the frame of the picture. BUT, the most important part came to light when on a hunch, I began manipulating the picture and noticed what I think might be faces in the frames of the window on the left. You will see that there are two out of three rows of panes with possibles. In the second row of panes you will notice what appear to be a face in each of the three vertical panes.
Top pane - has a face that appears to have a white moustache and appears to be a bit older.
Middle pane - Is separated by the bar but you can make out a face of a man. After looking at the pictures at the San Francisco Public Library's files, it is very similar to Clyde Johnson.
Bottom pane - Is more difficult to see but looks like a man with a bushy moustache who is sticking his prominent chin outward.
The possibility exists that if Jackie had taken the picture perhaps even seconds later, either the picture would be clearer or would have been gone altogether. We are very excited about this picture!!

The significant aspects of the seance were that although Carla and Chris discovered that they obtained possible contact, the scientific portion of the seance became very important. The hospital ward began to develop a significant 10 degree drop in temperature during the seance. It was obvious from the standpoint of those sitting in the chairs where first it was warm and all of a sudden, cold. BUT, when our photographer, Jim Carter, began testing the areas of the hospital ward with his infrared thermometer, he began to notice a discrepancy in the temperatures and where they were. He would discover by situating the beam on different areas and different parts of the participant's bodies that the temperature drop was not affecting body temperature but only extremity temperature.
Needless to say, the seance proved to be quite successful in that Carla and Chris obtained the information they wanted and we obtained the information that we wanted. There was a definite "meeting of the minds" at this seance.
