Meet The Ghost Trackers  Founder and Director    ~ Gloria Young ~

Our Director/Founder is not one who enjoys her picture being taken but can take control of any situation with ease.  She is the one usually behind the camera directing, making sure everything is running smoothly.  She has led the Ghost Trackers paranormal research group to the forefront of paranormal groups bringing ghost hunters together for a yearly conference, many investigations, cutting edge of technology and equipment and educating the public with regular lecture series in libraries throughout California.

Gloria has been asked to consult on numerous television segments offering her professional and knowledgeable opinion, dealt with celebrities' paranormal problems and helped counsel with authorities on paranormal problems.

Gloria has studied all aspects of the paranormal:

• Certificate in Parapsychology
• Ordained as a Minister
• Certificate in the use of Thermal Photography
• Certificate as an EVP "Specialist"
• Certificate as a Reiki Master
• Certificate in Paranormal Investigation
• Certificate in Ghost Hunting
• In her "previous, normal" life, she obtained a nursing degree and worked in the E.R.

Gloria has written and published three books:

• Faces of a Ghost Hunter
• There Are No Ghosts In Santa Clara
• The Ghost Trackers Guide To Haunted Tombstone

Gloria has co-produced three documentaries/videos:

• Ghosts of Tombstone
• Ghosts of Virginia City
• Ghosts of Pleasanton
• Ghosts of Preston Castle (in post-production)
• Has had input on numerous others with Paranormal Productions, LLC

Gloria coordinates the Ghost Trackers programs:

• The yearly California Ghost Hunters Conference (Their 6th year in 2008)
• The yearly Ghost Hunters Campout
• The annual Adopt-A-Highway program
• Cemetery preservation and restoration locations
• Assists the National, State and Local Park Services coordinating ghost tours
• Assists in the restoration of many historical buildings via fundraising or other efforts

Gloria also coordinates:

• All paranormal investigations
• Formats our streaming radio station, KGST - Ghost Trackers Radio
• Puts together our newsletters - one online (Ghost Trackers' Ghost Tales Newsletter) and the hard copy (Ghost Hunters Gazette Newsletter)
• Puts together all guest appearances for the Ghost Trackers
• Writes articles for Holistic Junction and GoArticles
• Formats all Podcasts and RSS feeds
• Formats the Ghost Trackers social networks such as MySpace, Facebook, PerfSpot, etc.

Gloria has started The Center For ParaPsychical Research.  The Center was opened in 2006 to help determine the correlation between paranormal activity and its' impact on the environment.  The Center takes the evidence accumulated by the Ghost Trackers Paranormal Research Group and analyzes it further in a controlled evironment.

Gloria is a hard working researcher of the paranormal and has done so for almost 20 years.  She will assist anyone asking for help whether it be someone sending an email or a group requiring related information.
